FACULTY OF ECONOMICS’ DEPARTMENT IN BUJANOVAC MEETS THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE YOUNG IN THE MULTIETHNIC ENVIRONMENT

Bujanovac – A delegation consisting of representatives of the Coordination Body, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria, the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the municipality of Bujanovac visited the Subotica Faculty of Economics’ Department in Bujanovac.

Dean Aleksandar Grubor said that members of the high-ranking delegation wanted, in that way, to get personally acquainted with the work and study conditions of the faculty’s students.  

Expressing satisfaction with his stay in Bujanovac, Michael Linhart, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria, confirmed support to the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union. Since Austria chairs the OSCE this year, Mr. Linhart also underscored the support of his country to all the activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation at all levels, including those regarding the Faculty of Economics in Bujanovac. He believes that the faculty, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission, can meet the expectations of young people in that multi-ethnic environment.

The Mayor of Bujanovac, Saip Kamberi, said that the local self-government continued the implementation of projects and the existing cooperation. Mr. Grubor, Mr.Linhart and Mr.Kamberi, thereupon, held a lecture to students of the Faculty of Economics in Bujanovac.

The delegation that visited the Subotica Faculty of Economics’ Department in Bujanovac included, among others,  Johannes Eigner, Austrian Ambassador to Serbia, Ambassador Andrea Oricio, Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Giacomo Bosisio, Head of the OSCE Office in Bujanovac, Zoran Stankovic, President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of  Presevo , Bujanovac and Medvedja, and his associates.
