EXCURSIONS FROM JUNE 1, PROM NIGHTS IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE MONTH

3. June 2020.

Belgrade - Mladen Sarcevic, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, said that school excursions could be organized from June 1.

He said for the nova.rs portal that if secondary school graduates had planned trips abroad, they would have to replace them with some destinations in Serbia.

“I forwarded the letters to the schools this morning, so that they now have the option to complete the agreed trips. The goal is for those who want to take advantage of the trip to do so, and those who want a replacement trip or voucher, can take it. Those who want their money back have an option too, but there is a time limit for that,” Minister Sarcevic said.

The Minister also said that the recommendation was that graduation parties should be organized from the second half of June onward, as well as that primary school graduation parties should be organized on school premises or at some institutions belonging to the local self-government, such as cultural centers.

Secondary school graduates can organize celebrations in restaurants and hotels.

“Let them decide for themselves, while taking care of all the security measures that are used. They do not have to get very close to each other,” Minister Sarcevic said.
