EUROPEAN PROGRESS: DONATION FOR BUJANOVAC ROMA WOMEN

Bujanovac – The European Union and the Government of Switzerland supported the project "Empowerment of Roma Women from Bujanovac for Higher Employment" of the Association of Roma Women from Bujanovac with 8,150 euros.

The European Union and the Government of Switzerland will, through the European Progress development program, support a total of sixteen projects of civil society organizations that will contribute to improving the situation of Roma communities in 34 municipalities in the southeastern and southwestern parts of the country.

The projects for which the overall support amounting to 150,000 euros was earmarked are focused on implementing the measures from the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma for the period from 2016 to 2025 in the fields of education, employment, housing, social and healthcare protection and safety.

The projects will begin to be implemented in September and October 2016.
