“DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS”: SCTM’S CALL FOR THE BEST MEDIA ARTICLES ON LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTS PRACTICE (DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15, 2019)

As part of the program "Support to Local Self-Governments in Serbia on the Road to the EU - Second Phase", which is funded by the Government of Sweden, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities – the Association of Towns and Municipalities of Serbia (SCTM) launched this year's competition for the best media articles on local self-governments practice "Different from Others".

The competition is open to male and female journalists from local, regional and national media from April 15 to October 15, 2019.

The topics of the competition are: EU integration, environmental protection, business climate improvement, prevention and management of emergencies, as well as gender equality and human rights at the local level. By issuing this call, the SCTM wishes to underscore the importance and the role of local authorities in these areas, with the aim of improving the quality of services provided to male and female citizens.

Within the competition "Different from Others", five awards will be awarded, and the best male and female authors will receive laptops.

The articles should be sent to the SCTM Info Service by electronic means at zeljko.krnetic@skgo.org and milos.obradovic@skgo.org , or by post to the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities - Info Service, Makedonska 22/VIII, 11000 Belgrade, with an indication - Media Call “Different from Others”.
