COMPUTER LAB AT BUJANOVAC FACULTY

22. March 2012.

Bujanovac – Yesterday, a computer lab was handed over to first-year students of the Subotica-based Faculty of Economics’ department in Bujanovac. The fitting out of the computer lab was, through the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, funded with 16,000 US dollars by the United Nations Program. Danijela Nenadic, the Coordination Body’s Director, said that 15 computers, printers and the accompanying equipment, as well as computer desks and chairs, had been procured for the needs of the Faculty of Economics’ department in Bujanovac.

“The fitting out of the computer lab was one of the conditions for the Faculty of Economics’ department to become fully accredited. It was also necessary, since first-year students have IT technology as a compulsory subject that requires from students to work on computers”, said Danijela Nenadic.

The Faculty of Economics’ department in Bujanovac began operating on October 28, 2011, when 69 students, who are financed from the budget, enrolled in the first year, while the classes are held in both Serbian and Albanian.
