COMPETITION FOR THE 2019 EUROPEAN PRESS AWARD (DEADLINE: DECEMBER 13, 2019)

Applications for the European Press Award are to be submitted by December 13, 2019, while any journalist from Europe can apply for the award, according to a letter sent by the organizers of this distinguished award to the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (IJAS).

"We want to give to the journalists of your association the opportunity to send the application for the award. Until December 13, every journalist from Europe, as well as a journalist working for the European media, can submit their work through our website, "states the European Press Award Foundation, which promotes and encourages the greatest achievements in European journalism.

The winners of this year's competition will be announced at the annual ceremony of the European Press Award, which will take place in May next year.

The seat of the European Press Foundation is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The awards have been given since 2013.
