10. July 2019.

The European Commission issued a call to organizations in Europe, which had already successfully developed sport projects aimed at social inclusion, to apply for the European prize #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 23, 2019 at noon, while the organizations registered in the Republic of Serbia also have the right to participate.

Public or private, commercial or non-profit organizations and institutions, including sports clubs and associations that use the strength of sports to increase the social inclusion of socially disadvantaged groups, such as ethnic minorities, refugees, persons with disabilities, youth groups  at risk or any other groups facing challenging social circumstances have the right to participate in the competition.

The projects qualifying for the final round of the competition will receive a 2500-euro prize and will participate in the final ceremony in November in Brussels, where three best projects will be selected to receive a 10,000-euro prize. In addition to cash prizes, projects and organizations will be promoted to recognition and will serve as an inspiration to organizations and individuals across Europe.

The documentation, the detailed rules of the competition and the application procedure, as well as the projects awarded last year, are available on the website of the European Commission
