"CHRIS" IN BUJANOVAC, TOO

17. April 2014.

The Network of Committees for Human Rights in Serbia "Chris" launched the “Three As” project in Bujanovac, through which the citizens of Bujanovac and its surroundings will be offered free legal help.

Dragan Djordjevic, the Coordinator of the Network of Committees for Human Rights in Serbia "Chris", said that the project would provide assistance to all the citizens, regardless of their ethnic background.

"The rule of law and the fight against discrimination are two main programs of the" Chris" network. We have been dealing with them for the past 15 years and we also provide free legal assistance in relation to the violation of human rights to those who need it. From now on, the office of the Bujanovac Committee for Human Rights is in our network, which will mean a lot to  residents of that municipality, "said Mr. Djordjevic.

The Human Rights Committee started to provide free legal assistance to citizens in 2002.

The program "Three As for Citizens - Access to Information, Advice and Active Assistance" are supported by the EU Delegation to Serbia. The aim of the program is to encourage non-governmental organizations of the Western Balkans and Turkey to provide information, advice and active assistance to citizens regarding their rights.
