CEI: CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS IN THE FIELDS OF HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES (DEADLINE: APRIL 9, 2020)

1. April 2020.

In order to provide a targeted response to the global epidemic triggered by COVID-19, the Central European Initiative (CEI) issued a COVID-19 extraordinary call for project proposals 2020. The aim of the call is to quickly address the specific needs of communities in CEI member states.

A total budget of EUR 600,000 - supported by all CEI member states, through the CEI Cooperation Fund, and by Italy, through the EBRD's CEI Knowledge Exchange Program - will be provided for the approval of projects in the following three areas:

  • Health care and telemedicine (MED);
  • Education and e-learning /distance learning (EDU);
  • • Support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

All public and private entities and non-governmental organizations seated and registered in one of the CEI member states, as well as international/regional organizations, may apply for CEI grants up to 100% of their project value, up to a maximum of EUR 40,000. Particular attention will be paid to non-EU CEI countries.

Due to the extraordinary nature of the call, only applications received by April 9, 2020 will be accepted.
