CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR CULTURAL COOPERATION PROJECTS IN THE WESTERN BALKANS (Deadline: March 17, 2020)

The European Commission launched a call for proposals for a project on cultural cooperation in the Western Balkans called "Strengthening Cultural Cooperation and the Competitiveness of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Western Balkans". 

The call for proposals is fully funded through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II).

The overall objective of the call is to foster reconciliation and good neighborly relations in the Western Balkans through cultural cooperation and creation.

The specific objectives of the call are to increase cultural cross-border cooperation within the Western Balkans and EU member countries and to strengthen the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries in the region.

To meet the requirements, a proposal must be submitted by at least 5 partner organizations (project leader and partners) from the countries benefiting from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II).

The application deadline is March 17, 2020.

Project activities should start between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2021.

The minimum project duration is 24 months, while the maximum project duration is 48 months.

The total budget for the call for proposals is 5,000,000 euros.
