CALL FOR LOCAL YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE YOUTH FUND "WE HAVE A SAY” (DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 28, 2020)

The Center for Democracy Foundation launched a call for granting funds from the Youth Fund "We Have a Say" under the "Youth of the Balkans for Europe" project.

The aim of the call for local youth organizations through the Youth Fund "We Have a Say" is to increase youth participation and strengthen local democracy in the Western Balkans by supporting local youth organizations that advocate active local youth participation.

The total funds of the Youth Fund "We Have a Say" amount to 78,000 euros. These funds will support local youth NGOs in Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia. The grant amount ranges between:

• Minimum amount: 3,000 euros

• Maximum amount: 6,000 euros

The types of projects that will be supported under the call are as follows:

• Projects that support youth empowerment and social inclusion of marginalized youth groups

• Projects that promote dialogue between youth and local institutions

• Projects that promote youth participation in local decision-making

• Projects that promote a better position of young people at the local level

• Projects that support youth participation in the implementation of policies that affect local social, economic and cultural development

• Projects that promote human rights in the local community

• Projects that promote inter-generational solidarity and sustainable development
