CALL FOR FINANCING PROGRAMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE FIELD OF CONSUMER PROTECTION IN 2020 (DEADLINE: JULY 27, 2020)

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications has launched a call for financing programs of public interest in the field of consumer protection in 2020.

Eligible to participate in the call, as the program proposal applicant, is an association registered in the Register of Associations and the Consumer Protection Association, which are run by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the seat of which is located in the region for which it applies and which has  no revenues-related debts on the day of submission of the program proposal.

The program proposal is submitted only for one region, so that the consumer protection association, the applicant of the program proposal, has its seat in the region where the program will be implemented. In order to ensure that the programs for which incentive funds are planned cover the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia, selected programs are financed with the maximum available funds in the following regions:

1. Region of Vojvodina

2. Region of Šumadija and Western Serbia

3. Region of Southern and Eastern Serbia

4. Belgrade region

 

The number of programs proposed by one consumer protection association is limited to one program, while the maximum amount that can be approved under the proposed program is 3,000,000.00 dinars.

The financial resources are provided by the Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2020 and amount to a total of 20,000,000.00 dinars.

The deadline for submitting applications for program proposals is July 27, 2020, by 3.30 p.m.

The public call and the documentation necessary for applying can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications (www.mtt.gov.rs ) and the e-Government Portal (www.euprava.gov.rs).
