CALL FOR APPLICATIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia issued a public call for submitting project proposals for the program "Support to Associations and Organizations - Encouraging the Activities of Professional Organizations, Councils and Associations" in 2016.

1) For projects and meetings of professional organizations, councils and associations.
2) For financial support and sponsorship of the Ministry of Health.

Programs/projects can be submitted by any interested organization, council and association for the purpose of using the budgetary funds earmarked for health promotion activities.

Associations can submit their applications for the programs/projects by which new ideas and new models of development and/or new ways of solving the existing problems are presented, or those by which the meeting of healthcare needs is complemented and extended through the provision of services, education and training, organization of expert meetings, conferences, meetings, workshops, the duration of which is limited up to six months.

Interested organizations, councils or associations may apply only for the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health, or for its financial support, which includes the sponsorship.

Each association, council or organization may submit only one project, regardless of whether it relates to the field of project financing or to financial support and sponsorship.

Eligible to apply are all associations whose activities are of public interest and in accordance with the legal documents of the Ministry of Health.

The basis for setting the priorities of the call for applications is the healthcare development plan. 

The priority areas include: prevention of chronic non-contagious diseases, support for patients suffering from malignant diseases, reproductive health, the health of children and youth, addiction-related diseases, infectious diseases, mental health, the health of disabled persons, the health of the elderly, the health of Roma, prevention of domestic violence, reduction of all forms of discrimination in access to healthcare and support for national programs and strategies in the field of healthcare.

The call for applications doesn’t cover the activities of the health institutions that have already been funded by the Republican Health Insurance Fund or from the budget of the Ministry of Health, those relating to printing authors’ monographs, organizing cultural events and purchasing the equipment.

All interested associations may submit their projects or apply for their meetings on the M4 form, including a detailed description of the proposed activities.
