CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE SECOND GENERATION OF THE “BACKBONE” SCHOOL OF NEW VALUES

The Centre for Development of Civil Resources (CDCR), in cooperation with the Civic Initiatives – the Bujanovac local office and the Youth Office from Priboj, announced a call for applications for the second generation of the „Backbone“ school of new values, which is opened until today.

The aim of the school is to contribute to the changing of value system in Serbia through education and to build the capacities of the new generation of young male and female leaders.  Beneficiaries of the school will, through lectures and workshops, learn from February to May  about human, minority and LGBT rights, transitional justice, academic writing and European values. 

School beneficiaries will have the task of analyzing the problems that exist in small local communities and of providing in their essays concrete suggestions for solving them. In addition, they will have a joint performance inspired by the topics that they dealt with while attending the school. 

The "Backbone" school  is intended for secondary school and university students, as well as for NGO activists,  from Pcinj and Nis districts, and from Sandzak, who are from 16 to 30 years old.  

A filled-in application form, which can be found on the www. crcnis. org website, can be submitted until today to the Centre for Development of Civil Resources (CDCR), which is located at 14a, Svetozara Markovica Str, 18 000 Nis, or e-mailed to апликација.kicma@gmail.com.
