CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR LOCAL ASSISTANTS THAT ARE TO BE ENGAGED IN THE PROJECT ENTITLED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVING THE TEACHING OF SERBIAN AS A SECOND LANGUAGE IN PRESEVO, BUJANOVAC AND MEDVEDJA

The Coordination Body’s Office invites interested parties to apply for the position of a local assistant engaged in the project entitled the Implementation of Recommendations for Improving the Teaching Serbian as a Second Language in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, which is funded by the British Embassy in Belgrade, the Office of the High Commissioner on National Minorities and the European PROGRESS program.

Two assistants are required for the implementation of the project, one in Bujanovac and another one in Presevo. The assistants shall be in constant communication with the coordinator of the project and shall work according to her instructions. The tasks of the assistants include preparation of documents necessary for project implementation, maintaining contacts with local partners and participants in the project, providing logistical support, preparation of monthly reports and other duties as needed.

The assistants shall perform their tasks in the period from January to July 2015.

The requirements that candidates should meet are as follows:

- Excellent knowledge of the Serbian language (reading, writing, communication);

- Excellent knowledge of the Albanian language (reading, writing, communication);

- Completed graduate studies in social sciences, law, economics;

- Good organizational and communication skills.

The deadline for submission of applications is by 3.30 pm on January 5, 2015.

The interview with the candidates will be conducted on the premises of the Coordination Body’s Office in Bujanovac (Karadjordja Petrovica Square - the building of the municipality of Bujanovac) on January 8, 2015. The candidates who submit the apropriate documents will be notified of the exact time of the interview via the e- mails stated in thier CVs.
