CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR FINANCING AND CO-FINANCING PROJECTS OF CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS ISSUED

With the aim of stimulating public discussion and debate on the topics related to the EU and the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession process, the European Integration Office issued a call for applications for conducting projects in the field of information, the topic of which is: 

YOUTH AND THE EUROPEAN UNION - WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE EU MEMBERSHIP

1. The EU and national and cultural identity:  the truth and prejudices;

2. The EU and education; the opportunities and experiences (secondary school and university students)

3. Why do we negotiate for the EU membership?

4. Let’s get to know our neighbors - the promotion and provision of information on cross-border programs, in which Serbia participates together with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Montenegro.

The target group includes secondary school students.

The European Union, through the IPA funds, financially supports the development of border regions and contributes to solving the issues of common interest, such as waste management, cultural and economic cooperation, education, tourism, transport and services in different sectors, by means of debates, peer education, workshops, seminars, quizzes, audio-visual contents, the Internet campaigns, websites, performances and the like.

Eligible to apply as project holders are the CSOs that were registered in the Business Registers Agency of the Republic of Serbia (associations and foundations), which aren’t bankrupt and which have settled all tax obligations.

The call for application runs from the date of issuing, April 15 to May 4, 2016.
