CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR “CAPTURE THE FILM” 2020 IS ISSUED (DEADLINE: MAY 1, 2020)

The organizers of the regional film festival "Capture the Film", which includes screenings of domestic and foreign films on the topic of disability, have announced a call for this year's festival. The call is open until May 1, 2020.

The entries must be relevant to the topic of disability (except for the authors who are disabled, for whom the topic is free), must be up to 30 minutes long, have at least DVD quality and subtitles in Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian or English.

The films are to be submitted by post (2 copies of the film) or via the Internet. In addition to the film, you must e-mail to catchfilm@gmail.com a filled-in application form, a biography of the author, two photos from the film, a dialogue list in SRT format and a trailer (if any). "Capture the Film" is the only regional disability film festival. It has been successfully held in Novi Sad, Rijeka, Banja Luka and Kotor for 18 years. The selected films will be screened in Novi Sad and shortlisted for screening in the rest of the cities, but also within the Film Caravans - screenings of the selected films in the cities of Serbia and Croatia.

“Capture the Film” festival is held throughout the region to inform the public about the lives, activities, rights and achievements of persons with disabilities, thereby influencing changes in people's attitudes towards persons with disabilities, better understanding and acceptance of diversity, and providing the conditions for greater visibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities in all spheres of social life.
