CALL FOR A NEW BEST DIGITAL SOLUTION THAT ENCOURAGES CIVIC ACTIVISM (DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2019)

Do you have an idea for a new application or platform that can connect citizens and help them solve problems in their community? Do you think digital democracy can contribute to greater citizen involvement in policy making?

If the answers to these questions are affirmative, the Belgrade Open School (BOS) invites you to participate in the competition and share your idea of an innovative digital solution that would strengthen civic activism and improve the ways in which citizens communicate with decision makers.

A maximum of 5 (five) best solutions will be selected, while the author of the best idea can expect to get the support in developing the proposed digital solution, which is in the form of a 2,000 euros cash prize.

The application deadline is June, 15, 2019.

The Belgrade Open School organizes this competition together with partners from Montenegro (Institute of Alternatives), Croatia (Gong), Slovenia (PiNA) and Spain (Access Info Europe), under the project "YOU4EU - Citizen Participation 2.0", which lasts from September 2018 to February 2020 and is implemented with the support of the Europe for Citizens Program.
