CALL FOR A JOURNALIST IN LESKOVAC ISSUED BY “SOUTH SERBIA NEWS” (DEADLINE: OCTOBER 11, 2020)

Do you want to join the journalist team of "South Serbia News" and report from the Leskovac area? “South Serbia News” "is looking for reinforcement in order to improve informing the citizens of the Jablanica district, but also the rest of Serbia, about the events in that area. Join them.

Work experience is not a crucial factor, but motivation, work ethic and readiness to comply with journalistic standards and continuous learning are.

The first round of selection will be completed by October 15 and all candidates will be notified of the results of it, while only the shortlisted candidates will be invited for testing and an interview. Interviews with them will be conducted in the next 10 days.

Upon the paid probationary period, which cannot be longer than two months, an employment contract will be signed with the selected candidate, which will, depending on the reached agreement and needs, be full-time.

The call is open to all those who live and work in the Jablanica district. Preference will be given to the candidates who are graduate journalists, while the final outcome will depend on the results of the test and the interview.

The final decision on hiring the journalist will be made by the editors after the completed internship in the editorial office of "South Serbia News" in Nis.

During the stay in Nis, the candidate will be covered the costs of transportation, accommodation and food.
