BUSINESS INFO CENTER OPENED

Bujanovac – The Civic Initiatives NGO from Belgrade opened the Business Info Center (BIC) on the premises of the Youth Office in Bujanovac.

The BIC is part of the "Getting New Jobs through Knowledge and Skills and Proactivity" project, which is financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Youth Build International NGO.

Dejana Stevkovski, the Project Coordinator, said that the BIC, among other things, would organize training courses for youth in order to develop their business skills and increase their employment opportunities, including the support to the development of the local business sector.

Snezana Milosevic from the village of Bozinjevac, who is one of the participants in the said project, has not yet made a decision about starting her own business, although, as she says, she is in a dilemma whether to opt for accounting services, in which she has the most work experience.

According Nermine Aliju, the local project coordinator, the BIC will be providing those services from 10 am to 2 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

The opening of the Bujanovac Business Info Center was attended by Rahim Salihi, the Chief of Staff of Bujanovac Mayor’s Office, and by Enis Salihi, the coordinator of the Local Economic Development Office.
