BUJANOVAC TEACHERS MARKED THEIR THIRD BIRTHDAY

Bujanovac – “Do not let tradition by “eaten” by modern society” is the slogan under which the third anniversary of the Bujanovac Teachers’ Association (BTA) was marked, said Tatjana Jovic, a spokesperson for the said professional association, at the event of marking a birthday of the BTA at the “Vuk Karadzic” community center in Bujanovac.

Speaking of symbolism, which was co-presented by members of the BTA and students of the "Branko Radicevic" primary school, she said that their intention was to demonstrate the meaning of integrating the traditional and the new.

"Merging tradition and modern society and raising awareness of modern man that the old crafts are the foundation on which future occupations should be developed,” Tatjana said

Video recordings of "Drelje ogorelje", which is a national "theater" performance, were presented to the visitors of the event.
