"BIVODA" CONQUERS NEW MARKETS

16. January 2018.

Bujanovac – The Bujanovac-based water and juice factory "Bivoda" will place its products on the Macedonian market for the first time, while it also plans to appear with its products on the Greek market.

Nenad Zafirovic, the Director of "Bivoda”, said for "Jugpress" that a multi-year cooperation agreement had been recently signed with the Macedonian company from Skopje, as well as that the company had been intensively preparing for its appearance on the Greek market, which should be expected in the second half of the year.

According to Mr. Zafirovic, "Bivoda" is interested in cooperating with everyone in the region, and when it comes to foreign markets, he singled out as particularly important the market of Kosovo and Metohija, on which, at least until then, the company had not had significant sales of its products.

“The market of Kosovo and Metohija is interesting to us because it is close to us. We have made some contacts at the fair in Pristina, but I expect that in the near future the currently modest cooperation with Kosovo Pomoravlje will be replaced by far more important business arrangements in these areas, "Mr. Zafirovic said.

He says that "Bivoda", which has one hundred employees, may be regarded as one of the largest economic entities in the municipality, but that it does not receive any support from the municipal administration, nor does it have any kind of cooperation with it.

"Bivoda", says the Director, is a company that is progressing, conquering new markets and expanding its range of products, with an average salary of employees of around 47,000 dinars, which is at the level of the national average, and that it pays substantial funds to the municipal budget - three million dinars for taxes per month.

Bujanovac businessmen are trying to compensate for lack of cooperation with the municipal authorities by joining the club of businessmen, the establishment of which was initiated by MP Nenad Mitrovic at the end of last year.
