Through the USAID program that is implemented in South Serbia’s municipalities, 14 small-sized companies dealing with food production and service trades received the support amounting to 195,000 US dollars last year. 121 workers are employed in those companies, which are located in Presevo and Bujanovac.

“The implementation of the project is to go on this year as well. The only difference is that the project will now include Medvedja, Kursumlija, Bojnik, Lebane and other municipalities. Depending on the offered ideas, we have planned to invest between 200,000 and 300,000 US dollars in private entrepreneurship – said for the “Danas” daily Redzep Ilijazi, the Vranje-based USAID’s Office Manager.
