AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION BETWEEN THE CENTRE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF JABLANICA AND PCINJ DISTRICTS (CDJP) AND THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

Leskovac – With the aim of strengthening the economic activities of the Jablanica and Pcinj Districts, representatives of the Centre for the Development of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts reached, at a recently held meeting, an agreement on future cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture.

At the meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture’s officials, representatives of the CDJP presented the results of the project "Support for the Production of Organic Food in South Serbia" and the potential of the region.

On that occasion, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture showed great interest in the Centre’s work, as well as in future cooperation with it. It was agreed that the cooperation must focus on getting new projects and attracting investments to the region, which they would actively work on in the coming period.

The CDPJ was given credit for the results achieved so far in the field of development of organic agriculture, and it was pointed out that the CDPJ had the capacity for concrete implementation of the national agricultural policy in that part of Serbia, not only in the sphere of organic agriculture, but also in the field of conventional one.
