60 MILLION EUROS FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE IN SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST SERBIA

Bujanovac, Belgrade – "Of the 100 million euro loan extended by the World Bank, which will reach the budget of the Republic of Serbia by the end of the year, 60 million euros are intended for the maintenance of infrastructure, and 40 million euros for energy efficiency," said Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia.

As far as road infrastructure is concerned, Minister Mihajlovic explained that most of the funds would be invested in the maintenance of 3,000 kilometers of roads, mainly of those in eastern and southern Serbia, or those in Nis Merdare, Presevo and Vranje.

Minister Mihajlovic, along with the Director of the World Bank, will, today, visit the works going on on a section of Corridor 10.
