Saip Kamberi, President of the municipality of Bujanovac, as an authorised representative of the Albanian ethnic minority in Serbia, submitted a request for developing a special electoral roll for the election of the National Council of that minority.
- In addition to the request, I also submitted 3,494 signatures that had been verified in a court of law, which should be enough for the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights to approve us the establishment of the special electoral roll – Mr. Kamberi said. In order to have a direct election, it is necessary that at least 24,000 Albanians enter their names in the electoral roll.
