Preševo

The municipality of Preševo belongs to the Pčinj district and it extends across  an area of   264km2. It is close to the Macedonian border and on international Cooridor 10, which connects Belgrade, Skoplje, Salonika and Athens. In addition to being situated on Corridor E-10, Preševo is on the M-25.2 highway, while three international airports, those in Niš, Skoplje and Priština, are in the vicinity.  According to the 202 census,  there are  35,118 citizens in Preševo,  out of whom 89% of them are Albanians, while only around 8.5%  of them are Serbs, which makes this municipality the largest Albanian community in Serbia.
