Coordination Body’s Office
The Coordination Body’s Office is an executive body that has its seat in Belgrade and its offices in Bujanovac and Preševo. The Office’s role is to implement the policy of the Coordination Body’s Presidency and of the government of the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of political, social and economic development and an improved quality of life of the citizens of Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa. Director of the Coordination Body’s Office is Danijela Nenadic.
Danijela Nenadic
Danijela Nenadic was born in Belgrade in 1974. She graduated from the Belgrade – based Faculty of Political Science. She obtained an MA degree in political science from the Central European University in Budapest.
From 2002 onwards, she was employed as a researcher at the Institute of Political Studies, where many of her scientific texts were published, while she also participated in the Institute's numerous rersearch projects.
Her involvment in the non-governmental sector began with the National »Otpor« (»Reistance«) Movment. As of 2004, she worked as a program coordinator at the Center for Non-Violent Resistance, which took activities in the fields of regional cooperation, ethnic relations and inclusion of marginalized groups in society. While working at the positon of a project coordinator, she designed programs, worked on establishing partnership relations with civil society organizations and institutions both in the country and abroad and ran programs through their various stages, as well as through lectures and presentations.
In the period from 2002 until 2007, she worked as a correspondant for »Oservatorio Balcani«, she was an associate of the Forum for Ethnic Relations, a regional representative of the ethnic relations project and an expert associate of a great many other non-governmental organizations. While being involved in the above activities, she worked as a reporter on major political, social and economic developments in Serbia. She took part in various projects, wrote, analyzed and held lectures on the participation of ethnic minorities in public life, organized roundtables and workshops. She also conducted analyses of political and economic develpments in the Western Balkan region, organized meetings with representatives of local self-governments and intentational institutions, civil society and local political parties.
She worked as an advisor to Director of the Office of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja from September 2007 to February 2010, while she became Deputy Director of the aforementioned body in February 2010. She was appointed Director of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja in March 2011.
She speaks Englsh, whereas she can also communicate in Slovenian and Italian.
