Belgrade –The measure of the exemption from taxes and contributions to wages will be used from October next year. Minimum 250,000 dinars savings on taxes and contributions to salaries can be achieved by the entrepreneurs who decide to start their businesses from October next year.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) issued a call for applications for financial support to the projects of local civil society organizations dealing with the involvement of citizens in the reform process and in the areas such as good governance and accountability, the media, community development and the rule of law.

Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja - Aleksandar Antic, Minister of Energy and Mining, said that the installation of gas pipelines in South Serbia was being considered, which would be done by the “Jugorosgas" and "Srbijagas" companies.

Bujanovac – Residents of the village of Zbevac, which is located in the municipality of Bujanovac, should soon get a water supply system that meets all standards, unlike the current situation in which most rural households do not have drinking water.

Medvedja – The Tourist Organization of Medvedja is organizing for the second time in a row the event called the "Evening of Oral Tradition", which will take place at the Medvedja community center at 6 pm on December 28, 2017. 

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Serbia launched a program of green innovation vouchers. The green innovation vouchers, the worth of which ranges from 4,000  to 20, 000 EUR, are grants for small and medium-sized enterprises that cover up to 90% of the research and development costs for the purpose of increasing resource efficiency and making an easy transition to a green economy.

Medvedja – Thanks to the financial assistance that the Coordination Body’s Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja provided to the municipality of Medvedja, the Veterinary Station in Medvedja will be undertaking biosafety measures in farm animal hygiene in the area of the municipality of Medvedja.

Bujanovac – On the occasion of the International Migrants Day, the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school from Bujanovac will, today, set up a large humanitarian stand in Karadjordje Square in Bujanovac.

The Global UGRAD Scholarships, which are awarded by the State Department, provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to spend one semester at a university in the United States.
