On October 16, 2017, the Regional Youth Cooperation Office issued a call for submitting project  proposals in the sphere of ​​the promotion of reconciliation in the Western Balkans by strengthening youth mobility, cooperation and activism.

Belgrade - The Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja communicates that a call for granting subsidies to small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs will not be issued this year.

Bujanovac – It was published on the Facebook page of the municipality of Bujanovac that the municipality would, thanks to a donor, implement two important projects.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development issued a public call for the participation in the use of funds earmarked for grants to non-governmental and other non-profit organizations that are important for education in 2017. 

Bujanovac – Implementation of the Project of Technical Inspection of the “Uski potok” location in the northern part of the municipality of Bujanovac, which is 275,800 square meters large and which is suspected of being contaminated with ordnance left over from 2001/2002, when the former Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja fought against regular security forces of the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, started.  

Bujanovac - The traditional "Race for a Happier Childhood", organized by the Red Cross of Bujanovac, was held at the Bujanovac city stadium. As in previous years, over 200 students of the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school participated in the humanitarian activity.

Medvedja - The municipality of Medvedja applied with the Council of Europe for the implementation of the support package for human resources management in the local self-government.

Leskovac - Marko Cadez, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, said in Leskovac that there were increasing more successful foreign investments in South Serbia, which is very important considering that only two local self-governments, those in Vranje and Leskovac...

Bujanovac – The Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac adopted a revised budget, according to which the budget of the municipality of Bujanovac will be increased by an additional 30 million dinars by the end of the year.

Medvedja – The old heating system for the needs of the “Geyser” hotel in Sijarinska Spa near Medvedja is being replaced, so that the rooms and suites with 277 beds will be far warmer this winter than in the previous years.
