SUPPORT TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES IN SERBIA
The Regional Chamber of Commerce Leskovac, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), carried out a presentation of the Program of support to small and medium- sized enterprises in Serbia. The program is funded by the European Union and implemented by the EBRD Small Business Support, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia.
MINISTER OF EDUCATION IN A MEETING WITH PRIMARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS FROM JABLANICA AND PCINJ DISTRICTS
Srdjan Verbic, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, spoke yesterday at the great hall of Leskovac town assembly with elementary school principals from Jablanica and Pcinj Districts about the preparation and implementation of the primary school leaving examination. According to the Opinion of Minister Verbic and the competent persons from the field of education, everything is ready for the final exam and it should pass in the best possible way.
OMBUDSMAN IN SOUTH SERBIA
Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja – Members of the Ombudsman’s professional team recently visited the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja where they received complaints from the citizens of the three municipalities about the illegal and irregular operation of the administrative bodies. On that occasion, they informed the citizens of the three municipalities that they could send their complaints to the Ombudsman by mail, too.
PUBLIC CALL FOR THE SUPPORT OF WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP THROUGH THE ALLOCATION OF GRANTS IN 2014 IS OPEN UNTIL JULY 11
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises owned and run by women, as well as entrepreneurships founded by women, have the opportunity of receiving grants in the amount of 50, 000.00 to 300, 000.00 dinars.
The deadline for submitting applications is July 11, 2014.

The commission for the allocation of funds from the budget of the municipality of Bujanovac in 2014 announced a competition for the allocation of funds for the implementation of projects that are of interest to the local community.

“MUSEUM OF VIOLENCE” IN BUJANOVAC
An exhibition entitled "The Museum of Violence", where medical records of victims of violence are displayed, was opened at the “Vuk Karadzic” cultural center in Bujanovac. The exhibition was held thanks to the support of the Office of Human and Minority Rights and the Fund for an Open Society.
