NINE WOMEN LAUNCHED THEIR BUSINESSES

Prokuplje – Nine women from the southern and southwestern Serbia obtained permanent employment through starting their own businesses, while 16 projects for the promotion of gender equality were implemented owing to the European Union's and the Government of Switzerland's  financial support amounting to 73, 220 euros.

JABLANICA DISTRICT INVADED BY GIPSY MOTHS

Leskovac – A genuine invasion of gipsy moths was recorded in the Jablanica District’s 18, 272 hectares of forest, in 7,408 hectares of privately-owned forests and in 10, 863 hectares of state forests, said Biljana Milenkovic, who is in charge of protecting forests at the “Forest” estate in Leskovac.
