COMPETITION OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Leskovac – 100 students from 21 secondary schools of South East Serbia are participating today in Leskovac in the regional competition of secondary school students in entrepreneurial skills “Business Challenge”.  

The competitors include students from Aleksinac, Knjazevac, Kursumlija, Leskovac, Medvedja, Nis, Pirot, Vlasotnice, Vucje and Zajecar, who will be given the “challenge” or task, which is a real business problem.

 

EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY DEBTS

Vranje - According to the Company for Distribution of Electricity “Jugoistok” from Nis, the deadline for payment of electricity debts was extended from 15 to 30 days, which is in line with the new Consumer Protection Act.

The competition of the Coordination Body’s Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja for the award of scholarships to secondary school students from the municipalities of Presevo , Bujanovac and Medvedja in the 2014/2015 school year, which was published in the „Politika“ daily  on October 2,  2014, is amended as follows:

COMPETITION FOR INCENTIVES TO ENCOURAGE INVESTMENTS IN PRIMARY AGRICULTURE

Leskovac - In support of the registered farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection adopted the Regulations on the Incentives to Support Investments in Primary Agricultural Production.

Pursuant to the competitions for subsidies to private companies, the Coordination Body’s Office, over the past two years, helped the development and creation of new jobs in 37 companies in the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja with 100 million dinar grants.   

PAINTING COMPETITION FOR THE EUROPEAN PROGRESS 2015 CALENDAR BEGINS

On Friday, October 10, a painting competition for the 2015 calendar of the European PROGRESS, the theme of which is “Discover Europe”, began for grammar and secondary school students from 34 municipalities in the South East and South West Serbia. 

The competition is aimed at encouraging secondary school students to pursue their artistic talents and at inspiring them to research and discover the little known, yet interesting, facts about Europe. They should also be creative in visually presenting their findings to the wider audience.

“BLUE TONGUE” DISEASE REGISTERED IN ABOUT 300 CASES IN THE PCINJ DISTRICT

Vranje - According to the data of the veterinary station in Vranje, the “blue tongue” animal disease was registered in about 300 cases in the Pcinj District.  

“According to our data, around 300 ill sheep and a fewer less ill cattle were registered in the region. When presenting these bits of information, I underscore that the cases at issue had been confirmed by laboratory results”, said Dejan Trickovic, a vet.  

NISVILLE – THE EUROPEAN FACE OF SERBIA - COOPERATION WITH YOUNG PEOPLE FROM BUJANOVAC

Nisville is one of the best-known and most popular jazz festivals in the region, which features the world-renowned musicians and brings together the audiences from different countries. The festival is held at the Nis Fortress every year and, in addition to the music program, workshops and discussions involving the participants in the main program, as well as all those who wish to learn more about jazz, are part of the festival.  

WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC POLICY

Bujanovac – The Association of Business Women of Bujanovac and the Association of Business Women of Serbia held a roundtable “Women Entrepreneurs Contribute to the Development of Economic Policy in the New Political Context” at the “Vuk Karadzic” cultural center in Bujanovac.

Bujanovac – At the American Corner in Bujanovac, around thirty young people from Bujanovac discussed with Drew Giblin, Cultural Attache of the U.S. Embassy in Serbia, the launching of people’s own businesses and the obstacles that stand on the way from the idea on a business project to its implementation.
