The Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja expresses its condolences to the family of the deceased police officer Goran Djordjevic, who was killed while performing his duties.

Presevo – The Leader of the Democratic Union of Albanians Rahmi Zulfiju said that fees for the insurance of passenger vehicles from Presevo and Bujanovac weren’t charged at the administrative-line crossings with Kosovo and Metohija as of midnight yesterday. The said fee used to be 20 euros per week.

Vranje – A series of forums on the problems of minorities in South Serbia will start in Bujanovac and Presevo on October 21, 2013, as part of the public campaign "We - Here", which is committed to improving public awareness about the importance of respecting the rights of minorities.

Students of secondary schools "Sezai Surroi" and "Saint Sava" from Bujanovac took today the activity for raising awareness about environmental protection.

Belgrade – The Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) organization completed the demining and clearance of cluster munitions in the municipality of Bujanovac, where it cleared an area of ​​over 825,000 square meters, found and destroyed 93 units of cluster munitions and seven other unexploded ordnance.

Yesterday was a day of joy for 33 candidates selected  during the competition of  the municipality of Bujanovac, some of whom have been waiting for years for a job.

The Coordination Body’s Office  is organizing a free School of the Serbian language in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo this year, too. All the applicants will have to pass the initial test that will determine the current knowledge of their Serbian language, based on which the groups will be formed.
