On Tuesday, July 13, 2010, Minister Milan Markovic, President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, paid a visit to Presevo and Bujanovac, where he talked with Galip Beciri, President of the Albanian National Council, about the planned activities of and cooperation between the Albanian National Council and the Cooperation Body. Minister Markovic said that each and every meeting with representatives of the Albanians is an important step towards improving the position of Albanians in South Serbia, and he pointed out that education was one of the greatest problems faced by all sides.

On Tuesday, July 13, 2010, Minister Milan Markovic, is going to have talks in Bujanovac with Galip Beciri, President of the Albanian National Council, on the planned activities of the Albanian National Council and on establishment of cooperation between  the Albanian National Council and the Coordination Body.

Yesterday Milan Markovic, President of the Coordination Body, Vincent Degert, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Labor and Social Policy, and Vladimir Cucic, the Serbian Commissioner for Refugees, opened  an apartment building for social housing and handed over the contracts and keys to the beneficiary families.

YOUNG SERBIAN, ALBANIN AND ROMA ACTORS AND ACTRESSES AT THE “EXIT” MUSIC FESTIVAL In cooperation with the Government of the  Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Government of the AP (Autonomous Province) of Vojvodina made it possible for performers of the “You and I are We” multiethnic play to visit the “Exit” music festival. In addition to providing tickets for the first day of the festival to all participants in and coordinators of the said project, also arranged for them was a stay in Novi Sad.  Good cooperation between the Government of the AP of Vojvodina and the Coordination Body of the Government of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, which had financially supported the “You and I are We” project, was resumed by this event.  

On Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 1.20 pm, Milan Markovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self – Government and President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Vincent Degert, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, Rasim Ljajic,  Minister of Labor and Social Policy, and Slobodan Draskovic, President of the Municipality of Medvedja, are going to hand over the keys of  eight apartments to displaced  and socially threatened families.

The Government of the Autonomous Province (AP) of Vojvodina enabled the participants in the “You and I are We” project to visit the “Exit” music festival. In addition to providing  tickets for the first day of the festival for all participants in and coordinators of the said project, the Government of Vojvodina also provided a stay in Novi Sad for them. This is continuation of a good cooperation of the Government of Vojvodina and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, which financially supported the “You and I are We” project.
